Dot Line Form Studios is a Melbourne-based interior architecture practice, specialising in the end-to-end delivery of custom builds across both commercial and residential projects. DLF is renowned for its creativity and attention to detail, delivering highly tailored and personalised client strategies from concept to delivery.
Our foundation began in residential architecture, and over the years we have curated a diverse portfolio spanning large scale multi-residential, retail, hospitality and mixed-use commercial spaces.
DLF proudly collaborates with an expert network of partners including designers, architects, project managers, developers, town planners and construction professionals to ensure success at each phase of the project. We work hand in hand with our clients to create a shared vision that genuinely reflects their personality or brand.

DLF Founder Crystal Chan is a mutli-lingual design practitioner who specialises in interior architecture, construction and project management. Growing up transnationally between Hong Kong and Adelaide, her wordly upbringing heavily influences her design sensibility and creativity.
Crystal completed her Bachelor of Interior Architecture at the University of South Australia and it was in Adelaide that she commenced her career in the architectural industry. Relocating to Melbourne and completing a Master of Design, Crystal harnessed her drive and business acumen when she started undertaking residential and commercial design and build projects as an independent consultant.
Crystal established DFL Studios in 2016, with the aim of providing her clients with an end-to-end solution for all their design and build needs. East and west influences can be seen in her approach to the design and execution of her work. Proficient across commercial and residential projects, Crystal’s ability to respond to a brief while delivering on the function, durability, sustainability, and aesthetic appeal of her designs has secured her a strong pipeline of projects.
